Is there a difference between cows and bulls, night and day, conservatives and liberals?
When the Bible discusses the difference between conservatives and liberals, it does so in terms of sheep and goats, wheat and tares, wise men and fools, true men and false men.
We will use the term “true men” (anthropos) in place of conservatives, and the term “liberal” to describe liberals sense everything is relative to them.
Issue: What are the general differences between true men and liberals?
Respect for Authority: True men look to the LORD God as their source of law; liberals are a law unto themselves: that is, their compass for living is located somewhere between their heart and pelvic bone.
(1) Respect for the LORD God: True men believe there is one God and one absolute law order; liberals believe there is no such thing as absolutes; that they live in a multiunivercse with multiple gods and multiple law orders.
(2) Respect for God’s law: True men believe they should worship God truthfully and not tolerate an alien law order to compete with the law of the LORD God; Liberals believes in pluralism and multiculturalism; that they have freedom to assert their own will in everything they do. Tattooing one’s body comes to mind.
(3) Respect for promises: True men believe they should keep their promises even though doing so may be painful; liberals believe in following their feelings and to your own self be true. Can you say “flaky.”
(4) Respect for holiness: True men believe that they should have a day of rest and pursue the will of their Creator; liberals believe they have freedom to live life in their own way, on their own terms– to live life to the fullest and to get out of life everything they can. Can you say video games or pornography or NFL or MLB?
(5) Respect for Parents: True men seek to honor their father and mother; liberal believe that respect for parents is old fashion because parents are to blame for most of their emotional problems.
(6) Respect for life: True men believe they should live in such a way as to injure no man or his property; liberals believe in tolerating those who slander others and tolerating unmarried fornicating woman who want to kill their babies. Promotion of abortion and toleration of Planned Parenthood comes into view.
(7) Respect for Marriage: True men believe in being faithful to their wives even though they may have difficulties, and that homosexuality and lesbianism is absolutely forbidden by the LORD God; liberals believe it is acceptable to love other women when their marriage goes bad and that any kind of sexual relationship is permissible as long as two people love each other. Adultery and the LGBTQ agenda comes to mind.
(8) Respect for personal property: True men believe it is always wrong to steal; liberals believe it is wrong to steal . . . unless they are hungry and in want.
(9) Respect for truth: True men believe they should pursue truth and tell the truth especially under oath; liberals believe the truth is whatever they want it to be — to follow whatever their feelings tell them to do. The question to a liberal is not where is the evidence, but how do you feel about this or that. After all, there is no absolute truth to a liberal because there is no absolute God. The Brett Kavanaugh hearings come to mind.
(10) Respect for Self-control: True men believe they need to control their thoughts and desires in order to prevent injuring others; i.e. to be honest in all their dealings with men: Liberals believe that it is O.K. to follow their own feelings and wants in order to make a profit even if others are injured by their choices. Banksters and IRS agents come to mind.
Gospel: True men believe in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; liberals believe in the Green Gospel, Mother Nature, and the need to save the earth from climate change.
Note there is a difference between hard core liberals who think government is a god and liberal media-parroting nut cases. There is hope for the later, but not for the former.
In liberal land near Lake Silly, Satanism must be treated as an equal with Christianity. After all, no religion has authority to claim superiority over others. That would be unfair! Forget right or wrong, the issue to liberals is fairness and equality.
In summary, true men follow the Ten Commandments; liberals live in a multiple universe with multiple law orders where each man is free to choose his own god, his own law, and his own values.
