Senator Bernie Sanders’ wants the world to know that China has “made more progress in addressing extreme poverty than any country in the history of civilization,”
Really?
How did China do it?
(1) By killing the poor. In “the great leap forward” Mao murdered 2.5 million members of the upper class.
(2) By starving the poor to death. It is estimated that Mao starved between 45 million peasants.
(3) By creating hopelessness where in 3 million Chinese commit suicide every year. Travel to China and see the suicide nets hanging outside of apartment buildings to catch those trying to take their own life.
(4) By political assassination. The communist Chinese government initiated no less than 20 massacres between 1950 and 2000 toward political dissidents.
(5) By theft of intellectual property. About 80% of S&P firm values rests on intangible property and Chinese theft of IP runs between $225 billion and $600 billion annually says the Fortune Company.
(6) China created contracts obligating the United States to buy trillions of dollars of products from China causing the wealth of America to shift to China.
China is a great model of success — success built on murder and theft.
