Greg Gianforte, Republican candidate in Montana, was charged with a misdemeannor for “body slamming” a pesty reporter after he blocked his path and “aggressively shoved a recorder in Greg’s face, and began asking badgering questions.”
Perspective is everything. Instead of journalists framing the news, “Reporter shows contempt for Political Candidate,” the news read, “Gianforte charged with election-eve assault,” a political set up to defeat the republican.
When it comes to sex, men are told that “No, means NO,” but when it comes to journalism, “No, means YES!”
Gianforte said, “No, get out of here!” and the journalist got in his face and attempted to push a penial mic down his throat” The disrespectful, impertinent young punk deserved to be body slammed and then stomped on!
But, in the insolent media, the journalist is never wrong. Invade a man’s space, show contempt for his disapproval, cram a microphone in his face, and when he reacts, play the victim. Not a bad strategy democrat journalists!
Folks, in this country journalists have trampled on the virtue of respect. Let us remember the Scripture, “a journalist’s mouth calleth for strokes” (Proverb 18:5).
Good for Gianforte! But, it will cost him the election because Americans believe resistance to tyranny is service to the Devil.
