“Trump a fraud and one of the most dangerous leaders we have ever seen. ” (Aaron Mate’).
Trump is an egregious leader because he supports Israel’s violations of human rights, the bombings of hospitals, the genocide of civilians in Gaza, savage murders of civilians in Lebanon, and Israel’s unprovoked attack on peaceful Iran.
Look at Seven Nails in Trump’s Coffin:
- On January 3, 2020 Trump ordered the murder of Qasem Soleimani in a drone attack without warrant, in an imaginary war on terror, while not a war with Iran or Iraq, on the sovereign territory of Iraq in a protected diplomatic building killing Soleimani and nine other diplomats, in violation of the Sixth Commandment, in violation of international law (The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations) that protects diplomats from violence and criminal prosecutions in the host country. There is no law that recognizes murder of people you don’t like.
- Trump approved Israel’s attack on Iran in the middle of diplomatic peace talks – an act of deception and treachery that destroyed the world’s trust in the Trump administration.
- Trump gave the order to murder civilian scientists, their families, and neighbors in violation of Article 51 of Additional Protocol 1. Countries are not permitted to target civilians even if they work for the government per Article 57.
- Trump gave the order to assassinate diplomats working for peace in violation Article 41(1) of the 1977 Additional Protocol I.
- Trump did not act in good faith for peace. Rather, he demanded the total surrender of the total government to the total U.S. government. Moreover, the demanded Iran give up its sovereignty and right to defend itself against genocidal Israel.
- Trump-Israel illegally bombed hospitals and schools in Gaza (and Iran).
- Trump-Israel ordered the bombing of media stations in violation of international humanitarian law (IHL) because they are staffed by civilians and are not legitimate military targets.
Because of these crimes, the Republican Congress should impeach Trump, subject him to the penalties of law, and remove him from office.
The difficulty in getting this accomplished is the Evangelical false belief that modern Israel is God’s chosen people; that the nation can do no wrong; and that Christians must express unconditional support for Israel’s strategy to dominate the world remains inexplicably stupid and unbiblical.
A larger problem lies in the mind of Evangelical Christians who consider violations of the Rules of War as a normal, acceptable part of war and not a war crime.
Moreover, the antinomian view of Evangelicals that there is no such thing as law and nations are free to do as they please contributes to modern apostasy that results in God sending “tem strong delusion that they should believe a lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:11).
