Ursula Haverbeck is not imprisoned – justice prevails.

Germany: The lawyer’s tireless argumentation together with international protests are believed to explain the authorities’ decision to suspend the implementation of the 94-year-old revisionist’s prison sentence.
Ursula Haverbeck , the 94-year-old German researcher, publisher and historical revisionist, was sentenced this spring for a similar violation of the “racism clause”, for the “crime” of having appealed a previous sentence. However, this time she will not have to serve the sentenced 12 months in prison, it was announced in Berlin on Wednesday, writes Nordfront .
Since October, Haverbeck’s lawyer Wolfram Nahrath has intensified his argument about the indignity of imprisoning a 94-year-old woman, and the authorities seem to have finally listened.
On the website Real History, the spring, autumn and summer’s extensive international protests against the sentence were also praised on Wednesday, which is also believed to have pressured the German authorities to suspend the implementation of Haverbeck’s prison sentence. The website also provides a tip for the German authorities concerned:
The next step should be to repeal the law on volksverhetzung itself [equivalent roughly to the “racism clause”, ed. note] which represents a violation of the traditional European standard of free historical debate and rational argumentation.
In 2017, Haverbeck was convicted of denying the “holocaust” at an event in Berlin. In 2020 at the latest, she was sentenced to a year in prison for giving the same statement once again in an interview.
