According to the People’s Press, “Public trust in the government remains near historic lows. Only 20% of Americans today say they can trust the government in Washington to do what is right” (May 3, 2017).
Here is an example of why so many hate the government:
Gregg Jarett of Fox News asks, “How is it possible that Hillary Clinton escaped criminal indictment for mishandling classified documents despite incriminating evidence that she violated the Espionage Act?
Why did Donald Trump become the target of a criminal investigation for allegedly conspiring with Russia to influence the presidential election despite no evidence that he ever did so?
The answer, it seems, comes down to one person who played a vital role in both cases: Peter Strzok, deputy director of counterintelligence at the FBI.”
It is this selective justice that makes Americans so angry.
Hillary had her hands in the cookie jar, and everyone in Washington ignored the heist, but the DOJ released a Trump hating pit-bull prosecutor on the President who had no cookie stains on his hands or cookie crumbs on his suit.
Deuteronomy 25:13 “You shall not have in your bag two kinds of weights, a large and a small.
Because Congress has two weights and measures, Americans hate politicians–Democrats and Republicans.
