The LORD God or the god State?
The Lord God law not only proscribes “same-sex marriages,” it proscribes homosexuality and makes it punishable by death.
Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
But, a new god in America is challenging the LORD God of the Scripture.
Last month, the Ohio Supreme Court’s Board of Professional Conduct said judges can’t refuse to marry same-sex couples on personal, moral or religious grounds. Now, if a man can not refuse to obey the State on religious grounds, then the State has proclaimed itself a god, a sovereign above the LORD God, and more important than the Lord Jesus Christ who is called “the King of kings.”
Who is going to win–the LORD God of the Ten Commandments, or the almighty State and its statutes?
Presently, county clerks, bakers, and judges are being jailed, fined, or fired from their jobs since the Supreme Court declared war on Christianity on June 26th, 2015. Marion County Judge Vance Day is being investigated by the judicial fitness commission in part because he refuses to perform same-sex marriages on religious grounds.
We are living in a time of apostasy not unlike the times of Ahab and Jezebel with what appears to be drag king and a drag queen in the White House. Christians, its time to choose: the LORD God or the god State.
If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if the Baal State government is God, then follow Him” stated Elijah (1 Kings 18:21).
