CASUAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH SENDS OFFERING TO PHILISTINES

In communion with the apostasy of our age, Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, New Mexico is giving God’s offerings to the local Pagan Public Fool System (June 14, 2015).

Apparently, the Christians in the area don’t pay enough in taxes so they are taking gifts given to the Lord Jesus Christ and sending them to Philistine schools that promote Secularism, Islam, Abortion, Sodomy, Same-sex unions, illegal immigration, destruction of white America, feminism, gender fluidity, and an anti-Christ curriculum.

When confronted for their apostate offering by an irate Christian visitor, one elder of the church said, “We are giving it to the Christian teachers in the public school.” Yea, right! What a lie! Oh, and by the way, the “elder” walked away from the rebuke offended.

Isn’t this apostasy? I wonder if Samson would approve of the Israelites in his day taking collections to give to the Gath schools in Philistia after the Philistines had already levied tribute on Israelite crops? Can you imagine the Apostle Paul taking collections from the churches and sending it to Caesar to get on his good side? Or, the apostle taking up offering to help support the School at Athens on Mars Hill? Neither can I!

Maybe this government approved 501 c 3 church organization should send all the Lord’s money to the Whore of Babylon. If Christianity is no different than paganism, why not give the Lord’s offerings to Planned Parenthood, or the GLBT, or the Communist Party?

What happened? Didn’t the Lord say, “You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve?'” Oh, yes, I forgot. That’s optional. What happened to the offense of the cross? Too many splinters, I presume. Don’t want to be at odds with government schools!

The casual church wants a Christianity that makes no stands for the cross and has the best of both worlds. Friendship with God and friendship with the world.

John 12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
