Would you recognize a liberal if you saw one?
Glenn Beck posted a video of Chelsia Sanders– a lovely young female volunteer phone-banking for Santa Clause, Bernie Sanders.
Shocked by the bitter Republicans who expressed anger about the alien invasion of foreigners into America, she broke down crying: “They (Republicans) are mean,” and “sick people,” who are “not human!”
Some responders reacted to her video feed and called her a “spoiled brat,” but that seems scrappy. It is deeper than this. It goes to the core of human nature.
This Bernie Sander’s liberal exhibits a human weakness common to liberals.
Here is a young, sweet girl who is all heart . . . and, no head; all compassion, and no cardinal principles; all sugar, and no salt; all love, and no vinegar.
Here is a liberal that couldn’t tell her dog to get off the bed because that would be “mean.”
Here is a naive, tender girl that has never been confronted for her aberrant liberal outlook. Has she ever heard the word “No!” in her entire life?
Here is a liberal that has never lived on a farm, had to kill a chicken, or butcher a pig. She truly doesn’t understand why America doesn’t feed and house the whole world. This is the disease of liberalism–pity without principles.
Here is a young liberal that thinks if the United States government doesn’t provide free education for everyone that they are mean and inhuman.
Here is a young liberal that thinks if Congress doesn’t raise the minimum wage to $15 dollars an hour, they they are mean and inhuman.
Here is a liberal that believes that if America closes its borders to illegal Mexican immigrants, that America must be a mean country.
Here is a liberal that describes Americans who are angry at their government for allowing all these refugees into the country as “sick people.” But, who is really sick?
The Holy Scriptures describes it this way:
Your eye shall not pity (the lawbreakers) (Deuteronomy 7:16, 13:8, 19:13, 19:21, 25:12).
While compassion can be a virtue, unguided mushy sympathy can also be a vice . . . as is the case with this woman.
This liberal sinner has fallen short of the glory of God and exhibits a lack of righteousness. While God’s throne is one of great mercy, it is also one of great justice.
Even Jesus said, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” – Mark 7:27.
