First, there is more than one way to murder a man.
In politics, slander is the weapon of choice.
In the past month, Americans have witnessed the attempted murder of Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court nominee.
Slander deserves punishment, but in a tolerant permissive society in rebellion against God’s law-order, this is not likely to happen anytime soon.
Second, sexual misconduct is serious, and women who come forward testifying about their experience must be listened too
— unless they come forward ten, twenty, thirty years after the fact. Why should anyone listen to a woman who claims she is a victim of unsolicited sexual aggression who did not tell her parents, friends, or file a police report at the time? Time is like the tides that erases footprints in the sand.
Such allegations are more related to a political agenda than to a pure concern about sexual misconduct.
Third, it is one thing to make a general statement about being the victim of sexual abuse, and making a specific allegation against a particular man where a different set of obligations kick in.
Emily Yoffe at the Atlantic explains:
“Even as we must treat accusers with seriousness and dignity, we must hear out the accused fairly and respectfully, and recognize the potential lifetime consequences that such an allegation can bring. If believing the woman is the beginning and the end of a search for the truth, then we have left the realm of justice for religion.
History demonstrates that ascribing honesty or dishonesty, criminality or righteousness solely on the basis of gender or race doesn’t increase the amount of equity in the world.” (October 3, 2018).
Fourth, the allegations against Mr. Kavanaugh demand standards in God’s Word (Deuteronomy) be applied to rape allegations.
(1) Nothing is certain in this life. Because we live in a maximum liability universe, no claim is beyond all doubt. All claims, in order to be believed, must be accompanied with proof of claim.
(2) Every truth claim involving criminal actions must be collaborated and confirmed by two witnesses:
Deuteronomy 17:6 On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
In the Blasey-Ford claim, no one could collaborate her story — not her parents, not her husband, not her therapist, not her best friend, not the police, and none of her peers. Applying the Biblical standard, Blasey-Ford is not to be believed.
(3) In the case where a woman claims rape, the Bible supplies the following standard for a guilty verdict.
23 If a damsel [that is] a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die (he is guilty):
26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; [there is] in the damsel no sin [worthy] of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so [is] this matter:
Rape is seldom a public issue. Such dastardly deeds are done in private which result in a “he said, she said” scenario.
There is no such thing as proof above all doubt. One hundred percent, absolute proof doesn’t exist. For this reason, we must rely on Biblical standard for determining innocence or guilt.
The Bible’s standard is clear clear:
-If the conduct happened in an isolated area like in the field where there are no witnesses, God orders the jury to believe the woman and to condemn the man; that is, the man must be extraordinarily careful when alone with a woman lest he be unjustly accused. Even if he is falsely accused while in an isolated area, he is assumed guilty. In an imperfect, maximum liability universe, this is the standard!
-If the alleged event happens in the city or a populated area where people are present, then the women is assumed to have consented; that is, she has the duty to make sure she does not put herself in a compromising situation in the city.
If she finds herself being assaulted by a libido driven male, then she has a duty to scream, fight, kick, bite, and destroy everything in her reach to avoid the accusation that she consented. If the man claims innocence and there is no evidence of vigorous resistance, the jury must conclude that she consented and the man is not guilty. This is God’s rule that must be applied.
And, this is what happened when Christine Blakey-Ford accused Kavanaugh of rape . . . in the city . . . in a private home . . . where a party was going on.
Whatever happened or didn’t happen, there was no blood, no scratches, no screaming, no breaking of vases, and no teeth marks on Kavanaugh. No one saw her being assaulted, heard her scream, witnessed the destruction of property, or saw her leave “the party” in tears and in disgrace.
What verdict must righteous people render?
Because there were no witnesses or evidence of resistance, the jury must conclude it didn’t happen or that she consented. Her story about sexual assault is not credible, and based on a Biblical standard, Kavanaugh must be believed.
(4) Slander is a crime. A false witness making a claim without proof of claim, for political advantage, must be punished.
Exodus 20:16 ESV
“You (men and women) shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Proverbs 6:16-19 ESV
“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness (including women) who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
Proverbs 19:5 ESV
“A false witness (including women) will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.”
Deuteronomy 19:15-21 ESV
15“A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established. 16If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing, 17then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the Lord, before the priests and the judges who are in office in those days. 18The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, 19then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evilc from your midst. 20And the rest shall hear and fear, and shall never again commit any such evil among you. 21Your eye shall not pity. It shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.”
From this text we learn:
- The testimony of one witness, no matter how touchy-feely, is not sufficient to convict another of a crime.
- It takes two witnesses to gain a conviction. Testimony must be corroborated.
- Both the Accuser and the Accused must present their case before the court.
- Claims must be investigated, and if the testimony of the Accuser is found to be false (lacking claim with proof of claim), then the Accuser must be punished in place of the accused.
That women are to be believed because all males are liars exposes the utter shamelessness of the Democratic left and the wickedness of Americans who believe such nonsense.
Fifth, Men do not have a monopoly on evil — “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” including women (Romans 3:23).
Half the liars in this world are women, and if they slander a man, in order to destroy him, then they must be punished accordingly.
Because Americans no longer take slander seriously, the nation is engaged in political wars.
The verdict: Kavanaugh is “not guilty” and Blakey-Ford is a murderess who should be punished for slandering a man with her claim without proof of claim.
