Those of us observing all the monkey business in Washington regarding the “obstruction of justice” charge know that trying to persuade another member of the government is not obstruction, but the use of persuasion–a perfectly honorable, standard means of advancing an agenda.
That democrats are breaking out in hives trying to impeach the president on anything or everything has been quite obvious to the reasonable observer.
The left has resorted to the gods of chaos hoping to create impeachment charges ex nihilo.
“These special counsels have a way of going off the rails,” Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) told The Hill. “And the ostensible purpose of the special counsel has now been essentially vitiated and everybody knows that. And so they’ve got to try to find something to do. In this case, it was almost the intent from the beginning to try to create something out of nothing. And it doesn’t work in physics, but in politics it seems to be pretty effective.” (The Hill)
This is all monkey business. If you don’t believe that something can come out of nothing in politics, just ask the democrats who have gone ape over the hope of an obstruction of justice charge emerging from the acid pools of Washington.
