What was the President thinking when he released toilet-breath Scaramucci to go on a nasty cussing tirade against his staff in the White House?
Trump promised to surround himself with “good” people.
Now he’s surrounded by leakers, a divided staff, and a potty-mouth communication’s director.
Did the President give his staff any ethical standards to follow in the execution of their duties? It does not appear so. Does the President have ethical standards for himself? One wonders.
Dignity, honor, integrity, discernment, moral sensitivity, and good judgment have fled the White House.
Karl Rove, described the president this week as “vindictive, impulsive and shortsighted” and his public shaming of Attorney General Jeff Sessions as “unfair, unjustified, unseemly and stupid.” Kenneth Starr, the onetime grand inquisitor of President Bill Clinton, went further, calling Trump’s recent treatment of Sessions “one of the most outrageous — and profoundly misguided — courses of presidential conduct I have witnessed in five decades in and around the nation’s capital.”(Washington Post).
Nothing like giving your enemies stock piles of ammunition to bombard your fortress.
Trump is either out of his mind or he’s exposing what a poor manager of people he really is. By criticizing Jeff Sessions and sharing his secret bitterness with the American people, the Trump presidency is self-destructing. Inviting Scaramucci on staff may be the beginning of the end for the president.
The country has gone crazy and it doesn’t help to have a crazy man in the White House. A good administrator doesn’t rebuke his underlings in public, he does it in private. By airing his dirty laundry, Trump has taken the presidency to a new low.
One thing for sure. Trump not only lost what fragile unity existed among his subordinates, he just alienated his Christian / conservative support among his base.
One wonders how much longer this childish, inept, vindictive CEO of the “United States” can remain president?

Update: Surprise, surprise! The president was upset over Scaramucci’s foul language and deemed it totally inappropriate. General Kelly, new chief of staff, fired bad-mouth Scaramucci.
Maybe this is a new beginning and not the beginning of the end. Optimism revived! 7-41-2017
