The Ted Cruz campaign should die of natural causes.
Doesn’t the Republican Party realize that Ted Cruz was born a Canadian?
Doesn’t Cruz understand Canadian law and realize that he was a “natural born” Canadian citizen?
“Cruz is so dumb that even though he is a lawyer who knew he was born in Canada, he didn’t figure out he was a Canadian citizen until he read it in a newspaper.” (U.K. Telegraph)?
Are these mindless conservative so constitutionally illiterate they don’t realized that Ted Cruz is ineligible to run for the office of the president?
His supporters appear to be all tangled up in their own shoestrings.
We’ve just been through 8 years of the DNC Obama Trauma questioning his origin of birth . . . and now the RNC shames the constitutional requirements to run for office. Have supporters of Cruz lost their freakin’ minds?
Cruz may be a naturalized U.S. citizen by immigration, but not a natural born Citizen by birth.
Cruz’s father was a Cuban; his mother a U.S. citizen; and Cruz was born in Canada–though far away from Kenya, Canada is a foreign country, folks!
In permitting Cruz to be a candidate for the office of president, the RNC creates a constitutional crisis. It is sending a message that U.S. Constitution is no longer relevant, and that how you feel about the constitution is more important than what it says; that your feelings about a candidate is more important than truth and facts about a candidate.
If Cruz does gain the nomination, conservatives will be forced to choose between the rule of law (the constitution) or the rule of man (Cruz and the RNC).
So, let the Cruz campaign die of natural causes: Cruz is not a “natural-born” citizen, and, therefore, not eligible to run for the office of president.
