Four Blood Moons

A Critic of the Movie Sponsored by John Hagee, et al.

I was invited to go see the movie “Four Blood Moons,” a documentary drama based on the book by Christian Zionist, John Hagee. A packed theater, there was standing room only. The film brought in talking heads and touted the supposition that the common lunar phenomena of a series of red moons somehow verifies the feasts and military aggression of Jews in Palestine. The audience clapped. I would give the movie four thumbs down for the following reasons:

1. “Blood Moons” is a Christian Zionist propaganda film filled with historical distortions, half-truths, and lies. In certain scenes, the violins played in the background to provoke as much sympathy for the Jews as possible as if Jewish suffering is more significant than the suffering of other people.
2. The movie portrayed Jews as pure, harmless, innocent victims of unwarranted Christian oppression. One scene depicts Torquemada in Spain torturing a handsome Jew with a pretty wife and adorable son. Nothing is mentioned of how the insurgent Jews in Spain sought to demoralize the nation, create revolution, and cripple the nation through debt. No scenes were shown of Jews crucifying and debowelling of Russians Christians nor of Jewish bombings of defenseless Palestinians in Gaza. No, the Jews must always be betrayed as innocent victims. The Apostle Paul said the Jews of his day “please not God and oppose all mankind.” Americans would do well to learn a lesson from Queen Isabella. Wolves and sheep can live together in the same pasture (1 Thessalonians 2:15).
3. The film called modern Jews the “chosen people of God,” “blessed of God,” “God’s people,” and a “miracle of God.” Jesus said about the Jews, “You are of your father, the Devil, and the lusts of your father, you will do” (John 8:44). The apostle John said the Jews were members of the “synagogue of Satan” and called them “Jews who are not!” Hagee failed to mention that Christians are the true people of God and that unbelieving Jews are going to hell because they reject Jesus as their Messiah (Revelation 2:9, 3:9).
4. Most egregious was the fact the film did not mention the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ once. What? A Christian film that doesn’t mention the name of Christ? What kind of Christianity is this? Certainly not the Biblical variety! According to Hagee, men are saved by believing in modern Israel rather than believing in Jesus Christ; that America’s hope is in embracing geo-political Israel rather than embracing the Son of God and His will for mankind; that Israel is the savior of democracy (a communist ideal), and that Jesus Christ, the Savior of all men, was not even worthy of one line in the script.
5. John Hagee said, I want Israel to know how much God loves them by giving them four blood moons. Can you say “heresy?” God showed His love to Jews by sending them his Son to die for their sins as the Lamb of God! Ever heard of the verse, “For God so loved the word that He gave His only begotten Son . . .?” And, may I remind you that first century Jews despised God’s gift, hated the Son, and nailed Him to a cross!
6. Hagee said that Jews and Christians are “spiritual brothers.” What? Hostile, unbelieving, Christ-rejecting, anti-Christ Jews are “spiritual brothers” with believers glorying in the cross of Christ? I don’t think so! Paul called them “enemies of God” (Romans 11:28).
7. The film failed to mention that modern day “Jews” are not Semites, nor genetically related to Abraham, but are Ashkenazi; that is, Gentiles from Khazaria (800 AD) with some kind of emotional connection to Biblical Jews.
8. The film mentioned “Israel” hundreds of times, and America much less frequently. I walked out of theater thinking that Hagee wanted Americans to take down the American flag, raise the Zionist hexagram, and pledge allegiance to the racist State of Israel regardless of their war crimes and acts of genocide against the Palestinian People.
9. The film distorted American history by giving the impression that America was founded on the Judeo-Christian ethic. The film gave the impression that it was Jews who came to America to settle here before Christians arrived. What nonsense! America was founded on the Puritan ethic, period! There was nothing Jewish about the Pilgrims and the Puritans. What seduction and propaganda!
10. The movie conveniently failed to mention that Jews control the U.S. government, the U.S. media (ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, FOX, et. Al), drive the pornography industry, manage the Federal Reserve and the banking industry, and are the cause of America’s debt, wars, and anti-Christian culture.
11. Just as egregious is the supposition that God speaks to Americans and Jews through the Zodiac; that Christians are to look to the stars for signs and a message from God! The John Hagee cult should know that God has spoken to us through His Son (Hebrews 1:1), and that men should look to the Scriptures, not the stars, for guidance. Hagee is leading Christians astray into “Jewish myths” and Jewish idolatry. He has become s false prophet and should be banned from the Southern Baptist Convention (Titus 1:14; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 2:1-3).
12. The movie didn’t even attempt to be fair and balanced. No opponents of Christian Zionism were interviewed. No Palestinians victims of vicious Jewish oppression were questioned. No Christians outside of dispensationalism were consulted. Why weren’t Bible-believing Presbyterians like R.C. Sproul examined? Why? Know that most scholarly Christians in the world don’t believe the Zionist hype Hagee teaches.
13. Then, there is the total distortion of Scriptures! For example, the movie mentions how the political aggression of Jews to establish a nation state in 1948 is a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy in Ezekiel 37—and, a “proof” the Scriptures are true. What a contortion of Scripture. Ezekiel is about the return of the Jews to Babylon in 536 BC under Cyrus and has nothing to do with the Jewish land grab in 1948. Furthermore, cult leader John Hagee and the host interviewer said that the grant to Abraham in Genesis 12 promised a blessing for those who bless Jews, and a curse to those who curse Jews. Pardon me! The promise was to Abraham, not modern, Ashkenazi, Christ-rejecting, Talmudic Jews! Abraham didn’t know what a Jew was! Hogwash! Modern “Jews” are not even related to Abraham. They are Gentiles from Ashkenaz in Genesis 10:1-3.
14. The film portrayed the Jews as victims. The film doesn’t mentioned that the Jews were responsible for all the suffering of the Bolshevik Revolution, WWI, WWII, the Gulf Wars, the War in Iraq, and the War in Afghanistan. At least sixty million people lost their lives due to Jewish activism in Europe. The film neglected to inform the audience that it was the Bolshevik Jews (Lenin, et al.) that murdered, starved, tortured, crucified, beheaded, gutted, and flayed alive twenty million orthodox Russian Christians or that the Jews declared war on Germany and worked as Leninist insurgents to make Germany a communist country.
15. Finally, the movie was loaded with jive. History was twisted and told the way Zionist Jews want us to look at history, not how it actually happened. For example:

First, the film portrayed the Balfour Declaration as a grant of thankfulness by King George V (1910-1936) and Queen Elizabeth (1952-) for Jewish assistance in helping the English win WWI (A lie). The Balfour Declaration was a pay-off to the Jews for the Jewish betrayal of Germans and for tricking America into the war against Christian Germany. See Benjamin Freedman’s, “Warning to America.”

Secondly, the movies portrayed the Jews as innocent victims of twelve aggressive Arab nations in May of 1948 (a lie). The truth is that Jews collected weapons after WWII and brought them to Palestine; that Jews were preparing for war; that as soon as the UN granted nationhood to the Jews, the Jews immediately launched a military campaign into Palestinian territory to seize, rob, and plunder as much land from unsuspecting, unprepared Palestinians. The twelve shocked Arab nations were no match for the armed, organized Jewish land grabbers.

Thirdly, Harry Truman did not get an inspiration from God to sign the UN order. His administration was infiltrated by Zionists who pressured him into signing the declaration. To not sign the declaration was political suicide for Truman because of the Zionist control of the American government. In his Memoirs, published in 1956, Truman cast himself as a consistent proponent of the Jewish state. Truman actually pushed for an Arab-Jewish federation (the newrepublic.com). He was, however, rewarded for his decision by the Zionist and later did not regret he made the decision.

16. The movie sanctioned the Jewish policy of genocide of Palestinians and failed to confront the Zionists regarding their barbaric treatment of Christian and Muslim Palestinians.

In summary, me thinks John Hagee has been drinking from the poisonous cup of Zionism, that Hagee is a patsy for the global agenda of Zionists, and that he is leading the goy astray from the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
