Four Blood Moons
A Short Critique of the Movie sponsored by John Hagee, et al.
By Dr. Brook Stockton
I would give the movie four thumbs down for the following reasons:
- “Four Blood Moons” is a Christian Zionist documentary drama full of distortion, half truths, and lies.
- The movie portrayed the Jews as victims and never the predator, as saints, and never sinners in need of the Savior.
- The movie mentioned Jews or Israel over one hundred times, but it never mentioned the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Before the audience was an unrecognizable Jewish, Christless Christianity.
- Hagee taught that God loves the Jews, not by sending his Son to die for them on the cross, but by giving the Jews four blood moons.
- Hagee taught that salvation is by believing in the Jews and the other Israel and not by believing in Christ , the true Israel of God.
- The movie taught that Christians and Jews should look to the stars for guidance from God, and not the Holy Scriptures.
- Hagee taught that atheistic, Christ-rejecting, anti-Christ Jews are “spiritual brothers” with Christians who embrace the cross as their hope of salvation.
- Instead of talking about the importance of the blood of Christ, Hagee taught people to trust in the Four Blood Moons as a sign from God.
- The movie proclaimed that Jews are the chosen people of God, and not Christians (1 Peter 1:1-3).
- Hagee taught the so-called Jews are God’s chosen people. Jesus said they served their father, the Devil (John 8:44). John said they were members of the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9; 3:9).
- The movie failed to mention that modern day “Jews” are not Semites, but “goy” from the tribe of Ashenazi (Genesis 101-3).
- The documentary drama was replete with violins tugging at the heart in support of the so called “Jews.”
- The film sought allegiance of the audience to the other Israel and not America. It appears that Hagee wants American to Pledge Allegiance to the a flag with a Zionist hexagram, “I pledge allegiance to Israel . . .”
- The movie was presented through Jewish glasses mangling the facts of history in favor of Christ-rejecting Jews: the inquisition, the Balfour Declaration, and the “land grab” of Zionists in 1948 and 1967.
- Hagee distorted Scripture by teaching that the Zionist land grab in 1948 was a fulfillment of Ezekiel 37. However, the passage actually applies to ancient Israel’s return to Jerusalem in 536 BC under Cyrus.
- Hagee taught that the UN’s establishment of Israel in 1948 was “proof” the Bible is true. While the Bible has many infallible proofs (Acts 1:3), the establishment of the other Israel is not one of them. A gentile people claiming to be Jews with a right to Palestine is no different than Chinese Mulims claiming Mecca belongs to them.
- The film was bias and prejudicial seeing that no opponents of Christian Zionism appeared on set. Further, there were no interviews with Palestinians who have been victims of the Zionist genocide in the Middle East.
- One of the main Jews in the film couldn’t even pronounce the name of Christ. He referred to the event before our Lord as “before the common era.”
- The produces appear to have given militaristic Israel carte blanche in the Middle East to continue their racial policies and genocide against the Palestinians.
- The film seem to indicate that America’s future will be determined by blessing the other Israel and turning a blind eye to Zionist crimes.
- The documentary distorted Scripture saying that God will bless those who bless modern Jews, and curse those who do not accept Talmudic Judaism.God promised to bless Abraham and his seed (singular) (Christ), not the Jews.
- The good news of the Bible is that God sent his Son to die for all men (Jews, so-called Jews, and men in all nations). It has nothing to do with giving pseudo-Jews four blood moons.
- A blood moon in the Bible comes from apocalyptic genre of Scripture and should not be interpreted with wooden-headed, steel-stiff literalism. God will judge the world! But, in His time, suddenly and unexpectedly (1 Thessalonians 5:1-9).
- Ten years from now, Pastor John Hagee will be looked at a fool and false prophet just like Edgar C. Whisenant and his false prophecy, “88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988.”
- Hagee et al. is leading people astray from Christ, the gospel, and the Holy Scriptures. In my opinion, should resign from from the Southern Baptist Convention.
