Open Letter to the Phoenix City Council
To the Neo-Pagans in the Phoenix City Council:
Hell, why not?
Go ahead and pray to Satan. Everyone knows that America was built on the Judeo-Christian-Muslim-Satanic ethic . . . but, don’t forget to put “Judeo” first. It was the Jews who crossed the ocean blue on the Mayflower to escape the Holocaust in Europe committed by Christians.
Pray to Satan, or Jesus, or Allah, or the Sun god. Pray to Zeus, Ishtar, or Molech (Baal). It doesn’t matter! Mankind doesn’t matter! All religions are equal and deserve First Amendment protection.
Pray in a church or synagogue or Mosque or in a witch’s coven. Who cares?
Hell, go ahead and pray naked under the stars, sacrifice a goat, and copulate with a high priestess. All religions will take you to heaven; and, there are no roads that lead to hell.
Go ahead, pray to Satan. Hell is heaven; heaven is hell. Life is death; death is life. Good is evil; evil is good. Up is down; down is up. East is west; west is east. Right is wrong; wrong is right. Confusion is good; order is bad. The earth is a ball; the earth is flat. Truth is a lie; and, lies are the truth! Nothing really matters.
Go ahead, and take your city to hell. Visit the gods of chaos where men can be women, and women can be men; where a man can marry man, and a woman can marry a woman . . . or animals if they wish.
Visit the gods of chaos where fornication is good, and virginity is bad; where murder is good . . . if innocent babies are killed, but it is bad . . . if you are the target; where stealing is a crime . . . if you are the victim, but stealing is legal . . . if it’s done by you in the name of taxation.
Hell, go ahead and pray to Satan. Why not? He certainly has the power to offer you the kingdoms of this world in your cactus desert.
Go ahead, and pray to Satan. Hollywood will welcome your support since it has produced a recent TV series called “Lucifer.” After all, it’s good for the economy . . . and, we all know that money is the root of all good. Keep an open mind. You certainly don’t want to commit the unspeakable crime of being censorious and judgmental. After all, your religion teaches you that there are no absolutes. Everything is relative.
Phoenix, go to hell! Show the world how open minded and stupid you are . . . but don’t forget to outlaw prayer at high school football games where teams may kneel on the gridiron . . . and actually pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who taught, “”Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it” (Matthew 7:13)
You, the City Council of Phoenix, represent all that is wrong with America.
